I am a board-certified Radiologist with advanced training in Breast Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging, and Body Imaging. I completed my Diagnostic Radiology Residency at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) from 2011 to 2015, followed by a Breast Imaging Fellowship (2017–2018) and an MSK Imaging Fellowship (2018–2019) at TUMS. I later served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania (2022–2024) and UW–Madison (2024–2025), contributing to imaging research in oncology, musculoskeletal, and pediatric conditions. In August 2025, I began my Body Imaging Fellowship at UTHealth Houston, McGovern Medical School, where I continue to build on my clinical and research expertise in diagnostic radiology

Doctor of physical therapy,DPT, nominated Member, Sigma Xi – The Scientific Research Honor Society With extensive experience at my previous own Roya Clinic, I specialize in treating neurological and musculoskeletal disorders using innovative therapies such as motor training, cognitive rehabilitation, and manual therapy. My approach integrates physical and cognitive exercises to enhance recovery and well-being, improving patient outcomes and reducing treatment times. As a researcher, my focus includes exploring the effects of cognitive and motor training on neuroplasticity and neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. I have published research on Sertoli cell transplantation, treadmill exercise for stroke recovery, and pain management during the COVID-19 pandemic. My work aims to develop cost-effective, integrated treatment approaches that advance patient care and reduce healthcare costs, particularly for Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.
